The Senior Engineer Property Networks is responsible for designing and implementing efficient and optimal networks including local area networks (LANs) wide area networks (WANs) the Internet intranets software defined networks and other data communications systems in support of the PropertyNetworkconnecting7400propertiesgloballytoMarriottInternational(MI) network technologists the Senior Engineer engages in technical workgroups resolves and makes decisions on complex and highrisk issues performs research analysis design creation and implementation of infrastructure systems to meet current and future user requirements in support of the development and management of the network products and services that connect our properties as well as supporting local property LAN services (guest WIFI backoffice POS etc. across the role is accountable for leading cross team relationships and partnering withall business disciplines other MI teams outsourcing vendors and external suppliers to define and implement the Property Networks roadmap building and enforcing the standards defined in position will also lead to define and support service delivery and operational support standards for our PropertyNetworkspartner withthe global technologypeer teams tomeetservicelevel requirementsandresolveservicedeliveryissuesacrossthe portfolio.
ReportingtotheSeniorDirectorofPropertyNetworksthiskeypositionisresponsibletoensureoverallrequirementsbycustomersandpeerdeliveryand operations groups are met. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: continental IT executives property LAN service providers (LSPs) end user computing services delivery hosting services enterprise availability server storage virtualization inclusive of security/privacy risk management and disaster and crisis successful candidate will provide senior technical engagement for all phases of the infrastructure lifecycle from ideation through and ongoing management and support of the endtoend network servicing all Marriott Property Network systems. (S)/He will develop and execute new initiatives to simplify standardize optimize and automate the network designs tooling and operations to reduce implementation cycle times eliminate service downtime optimize performance and ensure that all security and compliance requirements are fully governed.

The salary range for this position is $98500 to $166500 annually. In addition to the annual salary the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus.
