Job Description
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- An earned masters degree in Early Childhood Education Elementary Education Special Education or a closely related field
- Certification in Early Childhood Education (preK/4 Elementary Education (K6 or Special Education Pk12
- Demonstrated commitment to and expertise and experience in equity and social justiceoriented pedagogical approaches to teaching
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching graduate courses in education
- Experience teaching adults in person online and/or in blended/hybrid formats using an array of learning technologies and platforms (e.g. Moodle Canvas Blackboard)
- Experience with collaborative program development and design
- An earned doctorate in education
- Deep understanding of theoretical frameworks related to power privilege equity and social justice
- Teach in the Masters of Education program
- Participate in course/program assessment activities
- Prepare lessons related to the course deliver instruction and provide appropriate assessment
- Perform other related duties as assigned
