Your newrole
As the Student Placement Coordinator you will manage student placements across Sacred Heart Mission (SHM) ensuring students have a positive and meaningful learning experience.
Based in the Learning and Development team you will work closely with program areas to grow placement opportunities and strengthen SHMs future workforce.

A typical day would be:
- Coordinate and oversee student placements across SHM ensuring adequate supervision and support.
- Develop and implement orientation training and evaluation processes for students.
- Build relationships with tertiary institutions and registered training organisations to strengthen placement opportunities.
- Support SHM staff who supervise students by providing guidance and learning resources.
- Identify and implement improvements in the student placement program.
Were looking for someone with
- Experience coordinating student placements or similar programs in the community sector.
- A relevant qualification (Cert IV or above) in Training & Assessment Human Resources Education Social Work or related fields.
- Strong relationshipbuilding skills to work with staff students and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication organisational and problemsolving skills.
- A strong alignment with SHMs values and commitment to social impact.
