How you will make an impact:

The Product Engineering Intern will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative product engineering team to update and refine design drawings gain exposure to industrystandard CAD software and learn about the inner workings of product development from start to finish. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop practical skills and make meaningful contributions to exciting projects. This position will be onsite at our Meissner Corporate Headquarters located in Camarillo.

• Assist in updating and revising existing design and manufacturing drawings based on physical manufactured products.
• Review and ensure all drawings meet company and department standards technical specifications and regulatory guidelines.
• Modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on the physical manufactured products.
• Transition legacy 2D and 3D CAD files into Product Engineerings Data Management System (Vault).
• Help organize and maintain electronic and physical drawing files.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to clarify current design and ensure accurate revisions.
• Ensure version control of items.
• Support the creation of new drawings as needed for prototypes or manufacturing updates.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss updates issues and ongoing projects.

This is an onsite role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo CA.

The skills and experience youll need:

• Currently enrolled in a degree Bachelors Degree in a synergistic discipline such as Mechanical Biomedical Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• Must work well in teams but also be capable of seeking out information and selflearning as needed.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Selfdriven motivated to learn and expected to be accountable for assigned tasks.
• Must be Proficient with MS Office software including Outlook Word PowerPoint Excel and a working knowledge of a wide variety of software packages operating systems and equipment.
• Must be proficient in 3D modeling software comparable to AutoDesk Inventor or Solidworks.
• Must have strong English Language written and verbal communication skills.
• Must know how to use metrology tools such as calipers.

US BASE PAY SCALE $20.00 $25.00/hr

The base pay scale for this role is what Meissner reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicants experience.
