Our Digital Modernization sector needs a resultsoriented Enterprise Architect to support the Nuclear Command Control and Communications (NC3 Enterprise Centers (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Division at Fort Meade MD.
This isnt just any job. The SE&I Division serves as the hub for systems engineering and enterprise architecture and as the technical authority for the Nuclear Command Control and Communications within the Department of Defense. Our customer led by the Commander U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) applies subject matter expertise and best practices to translate mission and operational requirements into solutions and operational capabilities. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams government product and process owners and stakeholders to ensure that the engineering architecture and/or Configuration Management artifacts are produced as required by our government customer.

Primary Responsibilities
Work as a contributing member of the NEC team supporting the modification upgrade evolution and modernization of existing Nuclear C3 systems.
Develop and/or maintain architecture products such as system and operational views describing the Nuclear C3 systemofsystems.
Produce and publish baseline and incremental NC3 systemofsystems architecture products.
Advise the government with recommendations to enhance the NC3 systemofsystems and associated NC3 capabilities.
Work alongside other Architects with NC3 Enterprise engineering subject matter experts to support datadriven enterprise decision making.
Incorporate architecture artifacts into presentations (e.g. PowerPoint) designed to support senior leader decision making.
Basic Qualifications
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Must possess one or more of the following:
Bachelors degree in engineering computer science or educational equivalent.
The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certification.
DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) certification.
At least five 5 years of experience in the following:
Technical Architecture Framework for Information Management (TAFIM).
Digital Mission Engineering Environment or ModelBased Systems Engineering.
Systems modeling language.
Developing architecture artifacts per industry standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of and/or experience with operations and technical characteristics of military satellite and terrestrial communications systems.
Experience conducting architecture/performance tradeoff analysis and engineering design of a systemofsystems.
Experience working with senior Nuclear C3 community stakeholders such as NEC USSTRATCOM the Joint Staff and OSD.
Knowledge of activity data and process modeling techniques to include hands on experience with Enterprise Architecture (EA) development modeling tools such as Cameo and/or SparxEA.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $85150.00 $153925.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
