We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounts Payable Manager to lead our accounts payable function while also being a key contributor to other critical accounting functions. This role oversees a team of 56 professionals including offshore team members ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices payments and reconciliations. Separately the candidate will assist with other accounting functions in property accounting fixed assets and adhoc projects on finance transformation. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills advanced Excel proficiency and a problemsolving mindset with a proactive approach to continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the full accounts payable cycle ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance with company policies.
- Supervise a team of AP professionals including offshore team members providing guidance training and performance management.
- Monitor and maintain AP aging reports resolving discrepancies and ensuring vendor accounts remain in good standing.
- Collaborate with procurement finance and operations teams to streamline invoice processing payment and workflows.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls tax regulations and company policies related to AP processing.
- Lead process improvements including system enhancements and automation efforts to improve AP efficiency and reporting.
- Prepare and post journal entries for various accounting transactions.
- Perform account reconciliations and assist with monthend and yearend close processes ensuring compliance with GAAP internal policies related to internal controls.
- Assist in accruals prepayments and intercompany transactions.
- Provide support for internal and external audits.
- Assist in property level analysis to ensure expenses are allocated accurately.
- Assist in ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in accounts payable with a strong understanding of AP processes controls and best practices.
- Previous management experience is required preferably managing teams of 6 members including remote or offshore teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends troubleshoot issues and recommend improvements.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables XLOOKUPs formulas data analysis).
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and experience with journal entries and reconciliations.
- Excellent problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to process improvement.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
