Job Description
As they expand their Softs division (bedding scatters etc. and further develop their Homeware Hards categories they are looking for a passionate professional to contribute to their growth. This position is based in Riverhorse Valley Durban.
- Drive the growth of the Softs category with a target of expanding this division to R2025 million.
- Identify and develop opportunities within homeware Hards focusing on underdeveloped but highpotential categories.
- Source and develop products that align with market trends and customer needs.
- Conduct at least two buying trips to China per year plus min of quarterly trips to Johannesburg.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers internal teams and customers.
- 510 years of experience in merchandising specifically within Softs (bedding scatters textiles etc. with some exposure to Hards
- Proven ability to grow product categories and drive sales.
- Highly selfmotivated dynamic and assertive with a salesdriven mindset.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationships with both suppliers and customers.
- Willingness to travel internationally and locally as required.
