Immediate Hiring Need for NICET
Fire Alarm and Security Technicians
Full Time with Competitive Pay
We are seeking NICET certified Fire Alarm and Security Technicians to join our expanding team! You will be responsible for the installation troubleshooting servicing and repair of fire alarm and security systems as well as other fire and life safety products.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of fire alarm codes and standards.
- Repair or replace damaged fire alarm components such as FACP power supply and alarminitiating devices.
- Troubleshoot to identify faults including ground faults in fire alarm systems.
- Utilize required tools and test equipment (e.g. multimeter megger laptop for programming lifts) to repair or replace fire alarm and suppression system components.
- Demonstrate programming and software proficiency with various fire alarm systems for component removal or replacement.
- Complete documentation on work orders.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the companyprovided vehicle as per company policies.
- Be available for oncall status as required by location to handle emergency service requests.
- Adhere to safety programs policies and procedures.
- Attend seminars or training sessions periodically to stay updated on the latest technology codes and standards changes.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- NICET or statespecific certification.
- 2 years of experience in the Fire Life Safety Industry.
- Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel 90 of the time locally.
