Job Description
We are currently seeking a Web Design & Email Specialist to join our team in Ottawa.
In this role you will support web design projects and tasks email marketing campaigns and brand design initiatives contributing to visually compelling and userfriendly experiences. Your work will help businesses establish or strengthen brand identities enhance marketing efforts and optimize user engagement across platforms.
The ideal candidate is a selfstarting enthusiastic and driven professional with a solid foundation in design and UX best practices. They should be comfortable working in a collaborative team environment directly engaging with clients and confidently presenting creative concepts.
This is a hybrid role requiring inoffice work three days per week. The Web Design & Email Specialist reports to the Design Lead and collaborates closely with designers developers and marketing professionals to deliver highquality creative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Create digital assets including wireframes/mockups logos graphics email templates and brand collateral
- Develop brand assets such as logo concepts colour palettes and typography systems
- Research and present design concepts through moodboards stylescapes or sketches.
- Coordinate create and implement email marketing campaigns using platforms like MailChimp Klaviyo and ActiveCampaign
- Communicate design rationales clearly both in written and verbal formats to clients and internal stakeholders
- Support internal marketing efforts by creating assets such as slide decks document templates and webinar materials
- Assist with image sourcing photo editing and colour correction
- Work within industry tools including Adobe Creative Suite Figma and Webflow
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS knowledge as needed
- Be accountable to individual and department objectives (OKRs)
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with branding projects from logo concept research to and delivery
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms including audience list management and segmentation
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; Webflow experience is a plus
- A basic understanding of HTML/CSS is beneficial
- An online portfolio showcasing brand email and web design work
