Haskell is a leader in transportation design providing services in planning environmental services roadway and bridge design. Our civil and structural engineers environmental specialists and support professionals provide innovative and quality transportation solutions for our state turnpike municipal and private clients.
In this role you will be responsible for the production of innovative appropriate costeffective designs drawings and specifications in structural engineering for assigned projects. You will maintain professional registration and sign/seal documents prepared under your supervision. You will be responsible for assisting leaders in training and mentoring the staff developing the group in corporate standards and other assigned tasks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Participating in project strategy meetings develops design concepts and recommends appropriate structural and foundation systems.
- Preparing budgets for structural work on prospects/proposals monitors progress and completes projects within the stated fee.
- Production of wellorganized structural documents calculations and specifications that are accurate clear concise and complete.
- Responding to all RFIs and reviews submittals for compliance in a timely manner.
- Mentoring and directing technical efforts of Structural Interns Designers and Technicians assigned to your projects.
To thrive in this role you will need:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
- Masters degree in Structural Engineering (preferred)
- 5 years of engineering experience in structural design and application
- Professional Engineer (P.E. license or ability to obtain within 12 months
- Working knowledge of Microstation and OpenBridge

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand walk stoop kneel crouch and manipulate (lift carry move) light to medium weights of 1050 pounds. Requires good handeye coordination and arm hand and finger dexterity including the ability to grasp and visual acuity to use a keyboard operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit reach with hands and arms talk and hear.
