Program Description It is an exciting time to join Edgewood as we expand our Outpatient Mental Health services for youth and their families! This newly expanding program builds on Edgewoods long history of providing quality behavioral coaching and individual group and family therapy to MediCal and ERMHS recipients. Edgewood will now provide these therapeutic services to an expanded population allowing any individual regardless of insurance provider to access services. Services are provided both on our beautiful campus located in the Sunset District of San Francisco local schools and in San Mateo County. Position Summary This is a director level position that holds responsibility for developing and leading services providing daytoday operational management and monitoring the budget data and continuous quality improvement indicators. The position requires an entrepreneurial spirit and proven leadership abilities. In addition to experience in building new programs experience with private pay clients is essential. Essential Functions - Provide operational programmatic oversight to Edgewoods Outpatient Mental Health and Family Therapy Services.
- Lead the Outpatient team through implementation and growth process.
- Identify new Outpatient clinical business opportunities and actively participate in marketing activities.
- Support the growth of Edgewoods private pay services.
- Ability to be onsite 70 of the time.
- Ensure that services meet best practices and compliance with standards of care based upon client needs and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and other support departments to review financials meet targets ensure compliance mitigate risk and negotiate contracts.
- Set clear goals and expectations track progress against the goals ensure feedback and address performance issues promptly.
- Directly supervise staff to ensure the proper delivery of services.
- Collaborate and interface with partners.
- Professionally represent agencys perspectives and philosophy in discussions with external parties such as clinical partners commercial insurance representatives county Human Services Agency (HSA) and the Department of Public Health (DPH).
- Other duties as assigned or needed by the program.
Applied Knowledge Skills and Abilities - A minimum of five years of work experience in a therapeutic setting with children youth and families.
- Masters or doctorate in relevant field plus five or more years of experience.
- Experience with marketing programs.
- Demonstrated ability in working collaboratively with individuals and groups.
- Excellent verbal written and consultation skills.
- Awareness of and sensitivity to multicultural issues.
