Job Description

Now Hiring: Licensed Behavioral Health Specialist Transform Lives Every Day

Make a lasting impact on behavioral healthcare by supporting vulnerable individuals and families through evidence-based care. As a Behavioral Health Specialist you will provide comprehensive mental health services collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and guide patients through life-changing clinical pathways. Your role will be pivotal in addressing mental illness addiction and behavioral health crises across diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities

Comprehensive Patient Care


  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations.

  • Develop implement and revise individualized treatment plans.

  • Deliver outpatient therapy services to adults and/or children.

  • Provide crisis intervention and behavioral stabilization when needed.

Team Collaboration & Community Engagement

  • Collaborate with care teams including physicians case managers and social workers.

  • Build partnerships with community organizations to strengthen patient support systems.

  • Refer and connect patients to appropriate public and mental health resources.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation treatment notes and discharge plans.

  • Track patient progress through ongoing assessments and adapt interventions accordingly.

  • Prepare case summaries and reports for internal and external stakeholders.




Requirements

Qualifications

Education & Licensures

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with diverse mental health populations.

  • Skilled in conducting assessments developing treatment plans and providing therapy.

  • Background in crisis management and behavioral interventions.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong foundation in evidence-based practices and psychosocial care.

  • Proficient in crisis response and emergency decision-making.

  • Effective communicator with strong counseling and collaboration skills.

  • Knowledge of community-based mental health resources and patient advocacy.
