We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience to join our client as an Opposition Manager (Paralegal). The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various paralegal activities ensuring the accuracy and completeness of documentation and maintaining effective client communication.Key Responsibilities:- Email and Document Management: Handle all incoming and outgoing emails and manage courier docketing of files.
- Filings and Documentation: Review all filings and TMR (Trademark Registry) letters; prepare and file RTI (Right to Information) applications.
- Causelist Monitoring: Check the causelist twice daily and inform/docket the respective files.
- Invoice Approval: Approve legal assistant (LA) invoices concerning hearings attended.
- Billing Data: Provide expected billing data to the Accounts department throughout the month for selective clients.
- Hearing Communication: Inform LAs about hearing schedules and request outcomes.
- Client Updates: Provide daily status updates to clients and monthly status reports.
- File Tracking: Keep track of all hard docket / Deadlines files and seek instructions from respective teams.
Ideal Candidate:- Minimum of 6 years of relevant paralegal experience.
- Proven ability to manage oppo department and oversee paralegal activities with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and take full responsibility for allocated mandates/activities.
- Compensation will be based on prior experience and skill level.
