The Director Income Tax will be an integral part of the corporate tax team overseeing global tax compliance and reporting domestic tax planning process improvements and various initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead quarterly and annual global income tax provision calculations forecast and disclosures; manage communication with senior leadership and auditors
- Lead global income tax compliance and documentation of tax positions including federal state and international
- Lead federal and state income tax planning and audits including correspondence with tax authorities
- Oversee domestic indirect tax compliance planning and audits
- Manage process improvement initiatives
- Analyze and communicate the tax implications of business initiatives including mergers and acquisitions
- Develop and mentor team members
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740 income tax laws and the ability to research tax issues
- Experience managing tax audits
- Experience working with tax software financial reporting tools and data analytic tools
- Strong communication organizational leadership and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and embrace change
Qualifications
- Masters degree in accounting/taxation or equivalent preferred
- Certified Public Accountant
- Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
- 12 years of related experience in tax
- 8 years of management experience

The annual base pay for this position is: $185829.00 $278743.00F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience geographic locations and market conditions as well as to reflect F5s differing products industries and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
