Job Description
THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position you will showcase your capability to undertake both unskilled and limited semiskilled manual labor at Maurice K Goddard State Park. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of light and heavy manual tasks primarily focused on construction and maintenance activities. You will assist maintenance personnel with building construction and repairs as well as perform tasks such as digging holes and trenches using hand tools and cleaning culverts. Additionally you will be responsible for collecting litter and garbage on a daily basis painting signs and installing posts and signs as required. Ensuring that picnic tables fire rings trash cans and bumper blocks are properly maintained and positioned for the enjoyment of visitors will also be part of your duties.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- This is a seasonal fulltime position WITHOUT benefits. The season runs from approximately March until November at which the employee is placed on leave without pay.
- Work schedule varies for 7day a week operation. Weekends holidays and all shifts as needed will work a 37.5 hour work week.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Condition of Employment:- This position requires possession of a valid PA noncommercial Class C drivers license or equivalent.
