As a retail sales executive your primary responsibility is to drive sales and revenue for a retail business by promoting products and services to customers. This position involves actively engaging with customers providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty and repeat business.Roles & Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Greet and approach customers offer assistance and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping journey.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the products and services offered by beruru including features benefits and pricing in order to effectively communicate these to customers.
- Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed assigned sales targets on a regular basis through effective selling techniques upselling and crossselling.
- Customer Needs Assessment: Understand customers requirements and preferences by actively listening to their queries and concerns and then recommend appropriate products or services to meet those needs.
- Product Demonstration: Conduct product demonstrations where applicable showcasing key features and benefits to potential customers.
- Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels and ensure that products are adequately stocked and displayed attractively on the sales floor.
- Point of Sale (POS) Operations: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the stores POS system.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain records of sales customer interactions and other relevant information for reporting and analysis purposes. Formats will be shared by operations manager
- Visual Merchandising: Assist in visual merchandising efforts ensuring that displays are appealing and encourage customer engagement.
- Promotions and Events: Participate in promotional activities and events to boost sales and increase footfall to the store.
- Customer Feedback: Gather customer feedback suggestions and complaints and communicate them to the store management for continuous improvement.
- Stay Informed: Stay uptodate with product knowledge industry trends and competitor offerings to remain competitive in the market.
Qualifications and Skills:- High school diploma or equivalent (Some employers may require a bachelors degree in business or a related field).
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
- Knowledge of sales techniques and customer relationship management.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic retail environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a strong customercentric approach.
