The opportunity

We are looking for an Infrastructure Operations and Support Lead that will help pave the way for our digital platforms on the cloud as Infrastructure as a Service & onpremises deployment and configuration professional.

Our R&D engineers and scientists develop breakthrough technologies that change the way the world works and industries do business. We constantly push the limits of convention while retaining our focus on delivering quality products and solutions to our customers.

You will be working in a rapid team setup in a Global Environment with colleagues in around the globe that is cooperating with our global teams. You will report to the local department but also to the Global R&D functions for digital solutions & service in HVDC.

The team is working in an agile way where all team members are expected to contribute with their knowledge and experiences to achieve the common goals for the development of the products. This means that the team is doing breakdown of activities together collaborate within the team as well as seeking collaboration with other relevant teams in (and sometimes outside) the HVDC organization.

How youll make an impact

  • Maintaining and operating automated software builds (incl. internal tools) and deployment for cloud and edge solutions.
  • Maintaining and operating support tools and support processes towards our customers.
  • Managing and operating logging and monitoring systems.
  • Supporting/Going to Stations and/or remotely Configuring and installing MIMS & Edge device.
  • Identify implement and improve support processes and tools like ServiceNow.
  • Participating in R&D and Operations forums and contributing to ideas and innovations.

Your background

  • Experience in Microsoft Azure and DevOps.
  • Experience working in Windows & Linux based infrastructures.
  • Experience in network knowledge and firewall.
  • Coordinating support activities and understanding support relations.
  • Experience in ServiceNow and Support processes.
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or an equal field of study with 3 years of experience and fluent English.
