Job Description

JOB GOAL:

To advance the colleges mission vision principles values and strategic initiatives through continuous improvement decisions.

Shifts available:

8:30 am12:30 pm
12:30 pm4:30 pm
8:30 am4:30 pm

Camps start June 16th and end August 7th no work on Fridays.


Hiring for locations at our Main Campus (Cedar Rapids) Kirkwood Regional Center at University of Iowa (Coralville)


GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Currently looking for candidates with any of the following skills: K12 Education Child Management Summer Camp experience Early Childhood Education Daycare Experience.


Under supervision of the KICK Camp Director and Managers the KICK Camp counselor is responsible for day to day activities that include but are not limited to:


Checking in and out students in a safe timely manner assisting the instructor for each camp on their needs in regards to the scheduled camp assisting with lunch breaks and transitioning of camps throughout the day.


Minimum Qualification: Must be at least 16 years old.
Hourly Wage: $13.02

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Consistently attend scheduled work shifts
  • CPR certified (training provided)
  • Facilitate an outstanding participant experience by giving exemplary customer service.
  • Greet and welcome participants.
  • Effectively communicate with participants and Continuing Education Staff.
  • Answer questions and provide resources as appropriate to participants.
  • Perform other related work duties as assigned.
