Job Description
Job Summary
Our Officials are responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. They will need to build relationships with players parents and coaches while making sure that the aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered while providing a fun and fair game.
Responsibilities:
- Officiate games for youth teams ensuring a safe and fun environment for all participants.
- Enforce game rules and regulations to maintain fair and competitive play.
- Make accurate and timely calls during games displaying a comprehensive knowledge of rules and mechanics.
- Maintain control of the game and handle any conflicts or disputes that may arise in a professional and respectful manner.
- Collaborate with coaches and other officials to address any concerns and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Be punctual and reliable showing up for scheduled games and assignments on time and fully prepared.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills and act as a positive role model for young athletes.
- Uphold the values of sportsmanship teamwork and respect throughout all interactions with players coaches and spectators.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate decisions clearly and confidently.
- Strong problemsolving abilities to handle onfield situations efficiently.
- Dependable and punctual with a commitment to attending scheduled games and events.
- Ability to work well with children and maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
- Officiating experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Flexibility in working weekends and evenings.
