Full Time / Part Time Cashier
West Coast Gardens is growing and looking to build their team. Their gorgeous destination garden centre is seeking a fulltime Cashier with a strong customer focus. West Coast Floral is known for their family values innovative thinking and exceptional industry standards. In addition to their dynamic team they offer a flexible work schedule for students and parents looking for a daytime shift that is suitable for your familys busy schedule. Situated on 24 acres with over 3 million plants grown with a gorgeous destination garden centre specializing in ethically homegrown plants for your home and garden. West Coast grows one of the largest succulent selections in Canada.
Responsibilities
Process transactions accurately and efficiently
Opening and closing procedures are conducted accurately and efficiently
Provide excellent customer service and knowledge on all nursery stock
Keep the retail store stocked with plants and products
Ensure plants are healthy and well cared for
Ensure staff are abiding by Health and Safety regulations
Maintain a clean and tidy work area
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year cash experience
A passion for plants and shrubs
Customer service experience
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Able to lift up to 30lbs
Team player that is energized working with a team and autonomously
Must have own transportation not close to a bus route.
