As a fulltime employee of Contour Airlines:

  • You are eligible for health vision and dental coverage as well as shortterm/longterm disability and voluntary life insurance policies.   • You are eligible to receive paid sick leave. You can accrue up to 56 hours per year which will roll over each year until your sick bank reaches 480 hours.
  • You are eligible to receive vested vacation hours. These hours are available to you on January 1st following your date of hire.
  • You are eligible for nonrevenue/space available (NRSA) travel privileges after completing six active months of service.
  • You are eligible for a variety of leaves of absence including medical leave nonmedical leave for the care of a family member maternity leave paternity leave personal leave etc. Specific information regarding Contour Airlines leave of absence policy is outlined in our Employee Handbook which will be provided to you during the onboarding process should you be selected for employment.

Additional information:

  • The starting annual salary for this position is between $85000.00 and $95000.00 depending on your prior work experience. Based on your performance you are eligible to receive an annual increase of up to 2.50 or more.
  • You will be eligible for a signing bonus of $5000.00 paid within 30 days of your official start date. Additional information will be provided to you during the onboarding process should you be selected for employment.

Job Description:

The Regional Aircraft Maintenance Manager (RAMM)is responsible for providing oversight of and assistance to its assigned outstation maintenance locations. The RAMM ensures adequate staffing and training of the Aircraft Maintenance Technicians and performs required scheduled and unscheduled maintenance when required to support the Maintenance Operation.

Summary of Essential Duties:

Work Environment:

  • Be at least 23 years of age.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and eligible to travel in and out of the United States.
  • Possess a valid drivers license and good driving record.
  • Airframe and Powerplant Certificate required
  • Ability to travel within assigned region to provide required oversight and assistance.
  • Two 2 years of college or equivalent technical training in related field preferred
  • Ten 10 years of experience in aviation maintenance.
  • Three 3 years or more in a supervisory role within a 14 CFR Part 135 or Part 121 operation preferred.
  • Practical aircraft maintenance experience on assigned or similar type of aircraft.
  • Thorough knowledge of maintenance planning along with management oversight of inspections repairs and modifications.
  • Operational knowledge of laptop and desktop computers working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Word Excel PowerPoint Adobe Acrobat or related presentation programs. Operational knowledge of Outlook is required. Competency with internet navigation is also required.
  • Experience with CTA/FOS and computerized maintenance tracking software programs is desirable.
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA EPA state and federal regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts as needed including nights weekends holidays etc.
  • Must understand read and write English.
  • Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customeroriented mindset.
  • Possess strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Must have welldeveloped people skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities.
  • Able to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Able to handle interruptions and a fastpaced environment.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Be selfmotivated and able to motivate others.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal delivered with tact and professionalism
  • Must pass a DOT required preemployment drug screen and willing to submit to and pass FAA and Company mandated random drug and alcohol tests.
  • Able to pass a required 10year work history review and submit to criminal background and fingerprint checks.
  • Must possess the ability to accomplish duties in a manner that adheres to regulatory requirements including OSHA EPA state local and federal regulations.
