Manufacturing Test Intern

Job Summary
The Manufacturing Test Intern will support our production floor where we assemble and manufacture all products for our customers worldwide. From assisting with our circuit board manufacturing all the way though to manufacturing and service the Manufacturing Test Intern will be focused on improvements and development of test equipment but will also work closely with other operational disciplines to drive improvements across multiple product lines and processes

- You are highly motivated independent attentive to details and have a handson approach to problemsolving
- You prefer to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to quickly changing priorities in a highgrowth environment
- You enjoy technical troubleshooting and are currently enrolled in Electrical Software Digital Manufacturing or Computer Engineering
- You are handson and prepared to get involved with all aspects of operations with a cando attitude and collaborative spirit
Responsibilities
- Working with and under the supervision of a team of Test Engineers and developers you will
- Develop maintain and improve existing product test methods equipment and documentation
- Develop or coordinate development of electronic interface hardware and mechanical interfaces to test units and software to support both
- Support projects to improve existing manufacturing test infrastructure for yield and productivity improvements
- Investigate and find root cause of product test failures and drive resolution to improve product yield quality and throughput
- Interface with Product Development to ensure new products meet production test requirements and that production product test deliverables are met
You will
- Develop and debug software applying skills to Labview and Python developments
- Design circuits and lay out PCBAs
- Develop experience with RF test design for cellular GPS and other bands
- Develop experience with gas detection test development
- Learn handson application of engineering principals and practical troubleshooting
- Do hands on soldering assembly and debug of manufacturing test equipment
- Gain data acquisition and analysis experience using databases
SteelToed Boots Requirement:
Candidates are required to wear steeltoed boots for this role to ensure safety compliance in the workplace. Applicants must have access to a pair of steeltoed boots prior to starting employment.
