Job Description

Manufacturing Engineer
Milwaukee WI Direct-Hire $80000$110000 Fully Onsite

Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to lead the continuous improvement of production methods for custom-engineered electromechanical components. This individual will develop manufacturing processes optimize assembly workflows and support cross-functional teams to ensure cost-effective safe and quality-driven operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Author revise and maintain detailed production work instructions and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to ensure documentation accuracy
  • Create electrical testing protocols and train technicians on proper safety and quality practices
  • Analyze production workflows and implement tooling and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk
  • Investigate and diagnose returned units (RMAs) conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective actions
  • Manage calibration schedules for all testing equipment and tools to ensure compliance and reliability
  • Support internal initiatives from engineering operations and customer requirements as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering
  • 35 years of relevant experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Certification Demonstrated experience applying process improvement methodologies to reduce waste and improve throughput.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP Systems Proficient in using enterprise resource planning systems (e.g. Epicor SAP) to manage production schedules inventory and work orders.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g. Autodesk Inventor AutoCAD Mechanical)
