Energize Your Career: Are you ready to be at the forefront of the clean energy revolution MetOx International Inc. is seeking an Electrical Equipment Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in reshaping the future of power generation and distribution
Based at our global headquarters in Houston TX the Electrical Equipment Engineer supports maintaining and optimizing our manufacturing processes by providing regular maintenance troubleshooting and repair of our production equipment. The position reports to the Facilities Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance and Support:
- Collaborate on preventive maintenance schedules for optimal equipment performance.
- Promptly troubleshoot and address manufacturing equipment issues.
- Conduct routine electrical system inspections and suggest corrective actions.
- Provide technical support for installations upgrades and modifications.
- Ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with manufacturing processes.
Automation and PLC Programming:
- Design implement and troubleshoot automation systems.
- Develop and modify PLC programs for production requirements and enhanced automation.
Training:
- Offer technical support and training for operators and maintenance personnel.
- Collaborate on developing relevant training materials with engineers and stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of one year of relevant experience in controls engineering within a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a startup or high growth organization
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Proficiency in basic electrical skills and troubleshooting.
Experience with automation PLC programming and control systems.
Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant industry regulations.
Proactive and selfmotivated with a strong attention to detail.
