Job Description
This position is responsible for sorting donations ensuring an excellent customer/donor experience for all customers and donors directing all trash to the dumpster/recycling areas and maintaining workable systems that are already established. This position has no direct supervision of staff and is expected to work well with other team members throughout the store.

3 This individual must be able to make quick decisions lift 50 lbs unassisted and have a pleasant demeanor with all customers and donors.
Time Requirements:
This position will require between 1640 hours per week
Travel Requirements:
No travel is expected for this position
Position duties:
1 Excellent Customer Experience
a) Greet each donor and customer that you encounter with a pleasant demeanor
b) Quickly and efficiently unload all donor vehicles
c) Ensure each donor is genuinely thanked for their donation
d) Retrieve and load furniture items that are sold from inside the store
e) Effectively share the Vapor mission with customers who inquire
2 Donation sorting
a) Inspect each item that is donated for quality unbroken condition etc. and place in the proper location
b) Ensure complete sorting by adhering to the departmental sorting systems that are in place at your store
c) Establish proper setup of the donation/processing systems are in place for the start of the day
3 Housekeeping
a) Ensure a properly organized workspace during operating hours
b) Ensure a clean workspace at the closing of the store each night
c) Maintain completion of the opening/closing checklists
d) Assist the Retail Team with their opening and closing checklists
4 Other
a) Follow all instore policies
b) Ensure the next shift of workers are well prepared for work by your completion of necessary work tasks
c) Take all trash to the dumpster/recycling areas in an efficient manner
d) Other duties as assigned by the Shift Leader LOD or Store Manager
