Legal Assistant Nottingham FullTime Hybrid

Our client is looking for a motivated Legal Assistant to join their dynamic Plot Sales team. This is an excellent opportunity to progress your legal career while supporting a growing and collaborative team that provides topnotch service to clients in the real estate and development sector.
The Opportunity:
In this role you will provide highlevel organisational and administrative support to the Plot Sales team. You will assist with all aspects of the conveyancing process from handling legal documents to liaising with clients especially supporting house builder clients with their yearend completions.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing effective organisational and administrative support to a busy team of fee earners
Prioritising tasks and managing the Axxia action list (training provided)
Producing accurate documents and managing the case management system
Preparing sale packs related to partexchange transactions
Assisting with postcompletion administration including SDLT submissions and the registration process
Supporting Conveyancing Executives with exchange and completion paperwork
Handling Land Registry forms and other legal documentation
Opening and closing files conducting searches and issuing contract packs to solicitors
Attending to clients and solicitors via telephone taking messages and assisting with conveyancing
Assisting with monthly billing and other financial administration
Managing incoming and outgoing post and arranging couriers
Photocopying scanning printing filing and archiving documentation related to contracts and leases
What Youll Need:
Ideally 6 months of legal secretarial or office administrative experience within a real estate or professional services environment
Experience with Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) submissions Land Registry applications and searches is desirable but not essential
Confidence with IT systems including Microsoft Word and Excel (PowerPoint experience is a plus)
