For our MR PORTER STEAKHOUSEin Barcelona we are looking for Hostesses who can uplift our guests experiences.
A warm smile and a friendly conversation go a long way in making someone feel welcomed and our MR PORTER STEAKHOUSE Hostess team creates the guests first and lasting impression. As a Hostess you are responsible for creating a warm friendly and incredible environment for the MR PORTER STEAKHOUSE guests dining experience. Our MR PORTER STEAKHOUSE Hostess thrive on making loyal guests by taking them to their seats and presenting them with clean menus in a courteous quick and professional manner and greeting them with a warm and genuine goodbye. Ultimately youll ensure that we provide excellent guest service and a pleasant dining experience to our guests always with a smile.
Your profile
For this role you should be people skilled and motivated to make sure our guests have an unforgettable dining experience from the moment they arrive until their departure. The ideally candidate for this role has excellent communication skills a passion for hospitality and thrive in a team based environment.
Job requirements
Responsibilities
- A warm and welcoming delivery while processing our valued reserved and walkin guests
- Provide accurate information and monitor waiting lists
- Escort guests to assigned dining or bar area
- Provide menus and explain the concept to our guests
- Bidding goodbye
- Maintain a clean reception and working area
- Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children elderly)
- Answer incoming calls and address guests queries
- Assist waiter staff as needed
Requirements
- Previous work experience as a hostess
- Excellent customer service skills in person in writing and in speaking
- Availability to work in shifts as needed
- Flexible availability on nights and weekends
- Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift
- English and Spanishneeds to be spoken fluently
