Dickies Global Brand Archivist
What will you do
A day in the life of a Global Brand Archivist at Dickies looks a little like this.
As the Dickies Global Brand Archivist you will play a pivotal role in documenting analyzing and interpreting Dickies rich history uncovering insights that contribute to Dickies legacy and support the future growth and success of the brand. You will develop and maintain a meticulous Brand Archive that will provide essential assets to the Marketing Creative Design and Product teams. Your communication skills passion experience and knowledge will support and leverage the companys continual quest to harness the power of our history to build stronger connections with audiences around the world.In this role you will develop and champion Dickies history through research strategic insight storytelling and the development and maintenance of Dickies Global Brand Archive playing a pivotal role in preserving our history and driving the future success of the brand through effective archiving and strategic utilization.This role reports to the Sr. Manager Concept Design & Innovation in the Design organization.

Research: Curate the brands historical milestones with accuracy and relevance in storytelling. Document pivotal moments and adaptations over time. Ongoing sourcing of products for the archive.
Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives that communicate the brands history and evolution through a cohesive and engaging story that can be translated to employees and consumers. Develop and champion a point of view about how Dickies unique history can be a competitive advantage.
Documentation and historical preservation: Responsible for the professional care daily management and meticulous maintenance of Dickies archives including its organization preservation and storage. Implement and uphold archival policies and procedures regarding processing documenting and accessing archival collections. Budget management of archive.
Asset accessibility: Implement system for easy and regular training visibility integration of archive and historical information. Development of a digital archive and management.
Monitoring and enforcement: Act as a guardian of brand authenticity regularly audit global brand products materials activities to ensure they align to Dickies identity.
Educational initiatives: Collaborate with internal teams to develop training workshops or materials that educate employees about Dickies legacy and significance. Provide tours of archive to internal and external partners as needed.
Strategic insight and collaboration: Provide strategic insights by linking historical perspectives with current market and business trends aiding in the development of forwardlooking product and marketing strategies. Work closely with design merchandising marketing communication and creative teams to understand current needs and provide insights to drive effective action within the GTM Process.
Brand strategy: Aid in brand strategy development by providing historical context while considering future initiatives.
Marketing campaigns: Work closely with marketing to integrate Dickies historical stories into campaigns.
Employee engagement: Foster sense of pride and understanding amongst employees.
Product merchandising design development: Work closely with product team to incorporate historical elements into new product concepts emphasizing Dickies legacy to authenticate.
Wholesale partner communication: Craft messages that resonate with wholesale partners and support brand heritage and enduring brand strength.
Events: Partner with marketing to provide relevant stories for displays presentations activities.
What do you need to succeed

Additionally while formal education in a related field is great to have we are most interested in your 5 years of experience and professional achievements.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
A degree in design or related field and a minimum of 5 years experience in the field or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
Experience working in the Contemporary Fashion or Footwear industry
Knowledge in Art and/or Design history
Adobe products Key Notes and Web organization knowledge.
Customer service understanding.
Strong written communication and organization skills.
Works well in a collaborative environment.

$95040.00 USD $118800.00 USD annuallyIncentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan sales incentive orcommissionpotential.
