Job Description
Pipe Fitter Job Description
We are seeking a skilled pipe fitter to interpret technical drawings and blueprints select appropriate materials and assemble and install pipe systems. The ideal candidate will have strong welding and pipefitting skills knowledge of different types of pipes and materials and the ability to work with precision and attention to detail. The role also involves maintenance and repairs of existing pipe systems and adherence to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints for pipe system layout and requirements.
- Select appropriate types of pipes and materials based on project specifications.
- Utilize tools and machinery to cut thread and bend pipes to required shapes and sizes.
- Join pipes using welding threading and bolting techniques and install them according to design specifications.
- Inspect test and repair existing pipe systems to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements

- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong welding and pipefitting skills.
- Knowledge of different types of pipes and materials.
- Good manual dexterity and handeye coordination.

- Physical stamina for handling heavy materials and working in various conditions.
