  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D. or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O. from an accredited medical school
  • Current state medical license and in good standing with medical board

Nicklaus Childrens Hospital a 325bed freestanding childrens hospital and ACSverified Level 1 pediatric trauma center and Nicklaus Childrens Pediatric Specialiststhe physician multispecialty group practice of Nicklaus Childrens Health System are seeking a fellowshiptrained BC/BE pediatric neurosurgeon focused on epilepsy surgery with expertise in both open and minimally invasive techniques and at least three years of experience. Candidates should possess a passion for advocacy and improving care for all children which includes delivering on Nicklaus Childrens brand promise of a care environment where every child matters most.

Founded in 2001 Nicklaus Childrens Hospitals Brain Institute is the nations first comprehensive medical program dedicated solely to the care of the developing brain. It brings together worldrenowned specialists in numerous pediatric neuroscience subspecialties including child neurologists dedicated solely to pediatric neurological care with unparalleled cumulative clinical experience. Job Summary

The position is primarily a clinical position related to the diagnosis treatment and clinical management of pediatric patients in a multidisciplinary environment that includes physicians nurses advanced practice providers clinical scientists and social workers. The position offers exposure to a mix of general and high acuity pediatric patients. The position also includes teaching and supervision of medical residents and provides opportunities to participate in research and publishing.
