Job Description
Make a Real Impact as a Psychology Tutor.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Psychology Tutor with a proven track record of success in teaching students at KS5 level. Our tutors are skilled at developing and delivering engaging and informative lesson plans assessing student learning and providing academic support. They are also effective communicators and have a strong ability to build relationships with students.
- This job is in person in the Grays area
- Day(s) and Time(s): Wednesdays // 6:30pm 7:30pm
- Hour(s): 1 hour per week
- Subject and Level: A Level Psychology (AQA)
- Start date: Immediate start
- Contract length: 10 weeks
What Youll Do
- Develop and deliver tuition programmes in small groups or 1:1
- Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level
- Assessing any barriers to students learning and working to overcome these
- Monitoring student progress and producing reports
- Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
- Maintaining uptodate knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks youre providing subject tuition in
- Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager
Requirements
Were looking for someone who has:
- A Bachelors degreein Psychology
- 1 years of tutoring / teaching experience
- An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Right to be self employed in the UK
