About the role
The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers and you will build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders. Duties include but are not limited to:
Access control
Conduct asset protection patrols and visitor escorts
Respondprofessionally courteouslyand promptly to all directed enquiries
Complete reports and use the computer/systems as required
Observe activities associated with asset protection
Monitor CCTV footage and radio communication systems
Provide first aid and liaise with Police & Emergency Response Services
Review camera footage and write reports
Conduct foot patrols throughout the premises
Skills & experience
Certificate II in Security Operations
Security Licence
Previous experience in a customer facing role
Experience in security operations (ideal but not necessary)
Positive attitude great communication skills willingness to learn and adapt
Australian Citizenship required; NV1 or Baseline clearance (or the ability to obtain)
Australian Defence force experience is desirable
