Job Description
Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Development Director Maternity Coverto joinour team in London UK.
The Development Director willlead a successful development and fundraising strategy; using fundraising and/or new business development acumen to identify opportunities negotiate and secure awards and establish effective donor and partner relationships. Provide credible and compelling external representation for Malaria Consortium to undertake high level positioning networking and establish strong fundraising relationships.
The successful candidate will have:
- A successful track record of securing several highvalue health awards from philanthropy foundations corporates or HighNetWorth Individuals (HNWI)
- Specific recent experience securing funding with a focus on HNWI and/or philanthropic sources
- Experience working in a similar role with demonstrable positive impact on business development and/or fundraising
- Extensive experience of networking at the global level with donors
- Educated to degree level
- Proven effectiveness in developing capacities and working in crosscultural settings
This is a maternity cover positionfor the period of six months however it may be extended.
To apply for this position you will need to have the rightto work in the UK.
We are currently hybrid working and ask staff to come into the London office at least four times a month.
