ASSISTANT DEAN OF STUDENTS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 202526 The Milwaukee Rescue Missions Cross Trainers Academy (CTA) is a K412th grade Christian Academy in the heart of Milwaukee serving students and families who are searching for a strong academic learning experience in a gospelcentered environment. Cross Trainers Academy is seeking a fulltime Assistant Dean of Students (Elementary School) for the 202526 school year (start date 8/1/25. The individual in this role will build proactive relationships with students teachers administrative staff and parents and champion the mission and vision of Cross Trainers Academy through restorative practices and addressing disciplinary issues.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday 7:00am4:00pm TuesdayFriday 7:00am3:00pm. This is an hourly position that can be annual 12 month) or a 10month commitment. Start date: August 1 2025.
LOCATION: North Campus 1530 W Center Street Milwaukee WI. 53206
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support model and disseminate the functions of the school to be consistent with the philosophy mission and values of CTA
- Nurture relationships with students parents and staff
- Actively walking halls and classrooms and proactively engaging with students and faculty; reinforcing buildingwide expectations for behavior systems and effective classroom management
- Parent contact regarding student misbehavior attendance issues suspensions and good news incentives
- Hold parent meetings in regards to discipline progression as directed by the Assistant Principal and Principal
- Check in with students 1:1 as directed by the Assistant Principal to proactively identify struggling students
- Data collection pertaining to attendance uniforms bus behavior inschool suspensions office referrals and GRIT incentives
- Support projects and initiatives as appropriate
- Mediate between students and support a restorative disciplinary process designed to maximize student learning and reduce behavioral disruptions with students
- Oversee Resilience Room by implementing timeouts inschool suspension positive behavioral intervention and support to students
- Participate in programs activities and resources to provide student enrichment as assigned
- Active team member of the daily bus arrival and dismissal procedures.
- Speak at various school assemblies throughout the school year
- Active team member of the breakfast lunch and recess schedule and supervision process
- Complete home visitations when needed
QUALIFICATIONS: - High School diploma required; Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
- Experience in facilitating or supervising youth ministry and/or youth activities
- Culturally competent and relational with excellent organization interpersonal communication and mentoring skills
- An authentic eager and influential role model with the ability to motivate and inspire
- Ability to work effectively with diverse students families and colleagues
- Possess a personality of patience and composure with children and adults
- Proven skills in leadership group facilitation marketing communication and data collection
- Competent in the following platforms: Word Excel Outlook Gmail Google Drive Google Calendar Power School
- Must be able to handle physical workload ability to stand or sit for long periods of time walking stair climbing kneeling squatting crouching reaching handling and gripping without difficulty repetitive movement of both hands and arms occasional lifting or moving items with a maximum weight of 35 lbs. a short distance (ex: floor to shelf or cart) and pushing or pulling heavier items with the use of a cart or dolly as well as intervening in physical confrontations between students if necessary.

- Be a committed follower of the Lord Jesus Christ which is evident in personal testimony and Christian conduct
