Description
The Warren County Summer Internship Program will employ up to six 6 students for five 5 weeks during the summer. This Program will allow students an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience while learning about the various functions of local government. Students will submit 1 a completed Warren County Employment Application (Scan above code to apply) 2 a letter of interest stating why they want to work for Warren County and what they hope to gain from the internship and 3 a reference letter by a school official (teacher counselor etc.. Students will undergo a standard employment screening process to determine placement. The required information is to be submitted to the Warren County Human Resources Director. Application deadline: Friday May 23 2025.

Compensation:$9.00 per hour; working 37.5 hours per week
Desired Qualifications/Experience:
Clerical (filing answering phone data entry greeting visitors)
Intermediate computer skills (research/case study ability)
Creative thinking
Working with youth programs
Working with animals
Good attitude
Good work ethic
Good attendance
Ability to get to and from work with no problem
