Job Description
Senior Helpers Southern Maryland is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for home care services in the Southern Maryland area. Senior Helpers Southern Maryland offers services in Accokeek Brandywine Chellenham Clinton District Heights Ft. Washington La Plata Oxon Hill Suitland Temple Hills Waldorf White Plaines St. Marys County and Calvert County.
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Home Care you will play a vital role in providing personalized companion and personal care to ensure the safety independence and wellbeing of our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging in meaningful conversations with clients and building strong relationships
- Participating in clients favorite activities and hobbies such as walks movies and games
- Providing reliable transportation for errands appointments and shopping
- Performing light household tasks including cleaning and laundry
- Assisting with medication reminders
- Preparing nutritious meals for clients
- Reporting completed activities and providing updates on clients physical condition mental capacity and behavior
- Assisting clients with walking steps toileting bathing dressing grooming and eating
- Following care plans created by Registered Nurses
- Performing nonCNA functions as needed
