Job Description

Are you an experienced Tool & Die Maker with 5 years or more experience looking for a stable fulltime position with great pay and benefits We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team. If you have a background in moldmaking and repairing plastic injection this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Job Summary

The Tool & Die Maker will work 40 hours a week fulltime with OT available. They are responsible for making and repairing molds for plastic injection products. This role involves layout machining fitting assembly and finishing of metal parts to build and maintain molds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Study blueprints to compute specifications for dies and molds.
  • Plan sequence of operations visualizing the molds reverse shape.
  • Measure mark and scribe metal stock for machining.
  • Grind parts for assembly and smooth cavity finishes.
  • Assemble and verify die or mold dimensions.
  • Perform mold repairs as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints safety rules and technical documents.
  • Strong problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to follow written oral diagram or schedule instructions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and handson experience in tool & die work.
