Job Description
POSITION: Payroll Officer (Support Staff)
TYPE: Permanent Fulltime
LOCATION: Central Services Office North Battleford SK
START DATE: April 21 2025 or a mutually agreed upon date
COMPENSATION: Starting Wage $55930.52(plus comprehensive benefits)

About the Position
The Payroll Officer is accountable for delivering accurate and ontime payroll and for helping staff with payroll inquiries. Typical duties include:
- Preparing and processing support staff payroll for approx. 500 staff
- Verifying absence entries and updating absence balances
- Maintaining employee records
- Administering pay and leaves according to collective agreements labour standards and other payroll compliances
