Job Description

Were looking for a resultsdriven Account Manager to strengthen and expand relationships with existing clients in the forestry industry. In this role youll focus on nurturing and growing longterm partnerships while collaborating with the Account Executive and Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support and drive continued business growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Complex SaaS B2B sales and account management thriving in a highgrowth environment and enjoys working collaboratively with crossfunctional teams to align client needs with innovative solutions. You will excel in managing longterm relationships uncovering opportunities for upselling and crossselling and maintaining a strong client retention rate.

What youll do

Responsibilities

  • Manage and expand relationships with existing clients to achieve assigned quotas for Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and service revenue.
  • Develop and execute account strategies that drive value for clients and foster longterm partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the Account Executive and SDR to ensure a seamless handover of qualified leads and maintain visibility into new business opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client needs priorities and challenges to deliver tailored SaaS and consulting solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion including upselling crossselling and renewing client agreements.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Development Product Marketing and Customer Success) to align on client requirements and ensure successful delivery of solutions.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage client interactions track account activities and provide accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for client meetings conferences and workshops to maintain clear and professional communication.
  • Stay informed about market trends competitive landscapes and industry challenges to effectively position Remsofts solutions.
  • Attend client meetings and industry events as required with the ability to travel to Canada the USA and other regions.

What youll need

Qualifications

  • Language: Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
  • Software: Strong proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM platforms.
  • Years of Experience: 10 years of demonstrated success in SaaS B2B account management managing long sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex solutions effectively.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel to Canada the USA and other regions as required including attending client meetings and industry events.

Assets

  • Background in forestry natural resource management or related industries.
  • Familiarity with operations management or optimization software.
  • Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Selfstarter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
  • Analytical mindset capable of interpreting sales data and client needs to craft tailored solutions.

Location

We are committed to finding the best candidate and are flexible regarding location. While Remsofts offices are in Fredericton New Brunswick and Ottawa Ontario we are open to a range of working arrangements for this role. Candidates can work fully remote in a hybrid setup or from our office.
