POSITION SPECIFIC DETAILS:

• Hours: 40 hours/week Full Time
  Status: Full Year
• Locations: Madison WI Different locations include GB Arbor Hills East Madison South Madison and Wee Start
• Pay: $22.65 to 25.10 an hour depending on education

Qualifications:

• Educational pathway options:
  • Infant Toddler Credential/CDA or
  • Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or
  • Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with 18 ECE credits
• Strong ability to apply Early Childhood Development theory
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Experience in multicultural diverse environments preferred
• Ability to obtain Registry Certificate within 90 days

Role Overview: The Early Head Start Teacher will create a nurturing developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 03 implementing a holistic curriculum that:

• Honors and centers each childs unique cultural background

• Supports individual learning styles and developmental needs

• Challenges deficitbased narratives about children and families
