Colorado Visiting Nurse Association has an immediate opening for a Physical Therapist Assistant on the Northeast Team.

Status: Fulltime
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
Pay Range: Per Visit Rate Pay Model
Supplemental Pay:Based on position schedule and/or availability: Paid Mileage/Overtime
Mileage and Expense Reimbursement:Sixtytwo and a half cents per mile one of the highest in the industry!

REWARDING WORK YOU WILL DO:
Responsible for performing physical therapy and conducting case management under the direction of a qualified therapist.
- Performs services planned delegated and supervised by a qualified therapist. Assists in preparing clinical notes and progress reports.
- The procedures may include (but are not limited to): ultrasound treatment application of heat and cold massage gait training muscle stimulation assistance and training in cardiopulmonary exercise mobilization assistance and training with ambulation range of motion exercises patient transfer strengthening techniques electrotherapy prosthetic training and adaptive equipment.
- Participates in educating the patient and family.
WHAT WE ARE GOING TO LOVE ABOUT YOU:
- Minimum Education: Graduation from a Physical Therapy Assistant program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association or equivalent program.
- Minimum Experience: At least two years of physical therapy assistant experience required.
- Required License: Current CPR certification. Valid Colorado drivers license and proof of automobile insurance in accordance with state statute.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift minimum of 35 lbs.
