A Brief Overview
This Financial Analyst Manager role is responsible for managing the financial and analytical framework that underpins operational decision making of the Safelite Supply Chain. This role combines traditional financial planning and analysis (FP&A) responsibilities with a deep understanding of operational metrics to drive performance improvements and support strategic decision making. The ideal candidate will exhibit a high degree of curiosity and collaborative spirit understanding that financial improvements are made through partnership operational understanding and critical thinking. The Financial Analyst Manager is responsible for building and maintaining accurate budgets forecasts risks and opportunities. The role is responsible for building and maintaining mechanisms to enable efficient operations inclusive of unit forecasting and labor plans. The Financial Analysis Manager completes complex adhoc analysis and reporting.
What you will do
Build and maintain accurate budgets forecasts and risks and opportunities
Develop and maintain financial models to forecast supply chain performance track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends and opportunities.
Interpret and communicate financial analysis results and recommendations to stakeholders including senior management to support informed decisionmaking.
Build and improve upon mechanisms that enable efficient and effective operations such as labor plans and unit forecasts.
Perform comprehensive financial analysis and evaluation of initiatives including supply chain business cases and market tests.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including supply chain procurement store operations and customer experience to gather data and insights for analysis.
Monitor marketing budgets and expenditures ensuring alignment with strategic goals and providing insights for cost optimization.
Provide accurate and timely reports to senior management.
Interpret and present data insights to leadership and key stakeholders.
Lead a team of two. Maintain a high bar and support team members development.
What you will need
Bachelors Degree Finance accounting or a related field. Required
79 years Relevant experience required
Experience in financial planning & analysis required
Background in supply chain preferred
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to exercise business judgment and effectively communicate with management. (High proficiency)
Strong organizational skills attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks. (High proficiency)
Comfortable working with assumptions and imperfect data. (High proficiency)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (High proficiency)
Familiarity with industryleading BI tools such as Tableau or Cognos (Medium proficiency)
Strong verbal and written communication skills. (High proficiency)
