Mission
The Corporate Operations Group exists to operationalize the Databricks corporate strategy by leading the optimization of programs processes and cross functional initiatives to scale the business for continued hypergrowth. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Corporate Strategy & Operations and focuses on developing & executing strategies across countries verticals and cloud service providers to drive companywide impact.
Impact you will have
- Drive executivelevel decisions and investments through business case analysis and strategy development.
- Translate company strategy into measurable KPIs and work with stakeholders to develop dashboards & automation to facilitate exec visibility.
- Conduct analysis evaluate opportunities and drive investment by country industry and cloud.
- Develop actionable frameworks to align GTM and R&D teams on unified action plans to close target gaps.
Outcomes
- In collaboration with GTM and R&D leadership developed an effective strategy & plan which maximizes the growth and availability of Databricks software while minimizing the operational cost.
- Utilized an understanding of customers partners market sizing and industry trends to to allocate investments effectively on a global scale.
- Developed cross functional strategies in support of GTM and product teams increasing winrates and improving our positioning against the competition.
- Supported long range planning identifying opportunities and risks in planning assumptions.
- In collaboration with the FP&A and Data Science team improved our company forecasting methodologies to increase visibility into trends.
- Provided counsel to the executive team on longterm multibillion dollar investment opportunities.
Competencies
- 5 years in strategy operations and/or product leadership roles with a proven ability to independently lead and deliver a comprehensive companylevel strategy.
- Strong business analytics and reporting experience; experience using SQL Python or similar data science languages.
- Experience with enterprise software financial analysis and a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure.
- Selfdriven with a track record of exceptional results in challenging circumstances.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) as well as proven relationshipmanagement skills; ability to present complex ideas in a clear concise fashion to all levels including senior executive levels.
- Education: MBA with a technical undergrad degree preferred but not required.
