About the Job
As a Frontend Software Engineer at Ascertain you willdefine and lead the development of Ascertains userfacing applications. As one of our earliest engineering hires youll shape our frontend strategy select modern technologies and establish best practices that will influence our engineering culture for years to come.
Youll collaborate directly with product design and customers ensuring we build intuitive userfocused solutions that genuinely solve complex healthcare challenges. While your primary focus will be frontend our team is small and we value engineers who can make backend changes when needed to fully own a feature.
What Youll Do:
- Design and develop intuitive frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
- Work closely with product managers designers and other engineers to define technical requirements and translate them into robust software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews providing constructive feedback and ensuring highquality code standards.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to fostering a collaborative engineering culture.
- Contribute to improving software development processes and best practices.
What Youll Need:
- 5 years of experience in frontend development using React and TypeScript.
- Some backend experience to integrate comfortably with APIs and pragmatically contribute across the stack as needed.

Salary Range:
- $180000 $280000 base salary depending on previous experience and alignment with role expectations.
