Job Description
Job Title: Production Operator
Location: Wheeling IL 60090 USA
Employment Type: Temporary
Shifts Available:
- Days A Shift: 6:00 AM 6:30 PM (Three positions)
- Days B Shift: 6:00 PM 6:30 AM (Two positions)
Work Schedule:
- Week 1: 36 hours
- Week 2: 48 hours
Requirements:
- Steeltoed boots required (Expense can be reimbursed)
- Physical required
Major Tasks:
- Advocate and practice safety protocols.
- Participate in plant safety committee meetings and activities.
- Operate paint making control systems and manufacturing equipment such as pumps and valves.
- Operate packaging equipment including robotics filling machines case packers and labelers.
- Operate forklifts for material handling.
- Assist in unloading dry and liquid materials and loading trucks with finished goods.
- Monitor product quality in manufacturing and packaging areas ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Report unsafe conditions using STOP or SMART cards.
- Read and follow instructions in all areas of production packaging shipping and receiving.
- Participate in housekeeping activities to maintain a safe and clutterfree work environment.
Additional Duties:
- Assist in training other General Production Operators as required.
- Flexibility to work different shifts to cover vacations overtime or callins.
