Description

Salary: Up to 24000 per annum dependent upon experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am 5pm 37 hours per week

Location: Dinnington Sheffield S25 3QU

What can you expect

As a Resource Planner/Scheduler you will be optimising the allocation of resources to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow within the company. Your role is critical in coordinating and scheduling services that meet client expectations while maintaining high operational standards.

This may include:

  • Assigning and scheduling Service Engineers to jobs based on geographical location and skill set
  • Managing the daily workloads of Service Engineers to ensure timely completion of client requests
  • Communicating effectively with clients to confirm service appointments and provide updates on scheduling
  • Monitoring the status of ongoing service requests and adjusting schedules as needed
  • Keeping accurate records and documentation of scheduling activities and resource allocation
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance scheduling efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborating with internal departments to align on resource needs and schedules


Requirements

What do I need

  • Experience in resource planning scheduling or similar coordination roles
  • Strong organisational and timemanagement skills
  • Excellent communication abilities both verbal and written
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel
  • Teamoriented with a proactive approach to problemsolving
