POSITION SUMMARY:
The Infectious Disease Clinical Pharmacy Specialist (ID CPS) provides collaborative pharmaceutical care to hospital patients through the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP) with an Infectious Disease physician hospitalist and house staff physicians pharmacists pharmacy residents and clinical microbiology staff. He/she is actively involved in hospitalwide and departmental meetings such as Infection Control and other meetings as assigned. The pharmacist participates in departmental projects to further the department and teaches learners as able. The pharmacist may work weekends holidays days evenings and/or night shifts as assigned according to the position(s) primarily worked qualifications to work in said position(s) and according to departmental needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Graduate of accredited school of pharmacy and current pharmacist license by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy. Advanced training (residency fellowship and/or board certification).
