About the Role:
As an Independent Sales Representative based in the Southeast Territory(NC SC GA) you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong retail partnerships promoting Hayes Bicycle Group brands and driving sales and brand loyalty. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend your passion for cycling with your sales expertise making a meaningful impact in the cycling industry.
What Youll Do:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Retail Engagement: Actively promote Hayes Bicycle Group products to retailers ensuring they have the knowledge tools and support to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
- Product Expertise: Offer technical assistance and tailored recommendations aligning Hayes products with specific cycling applications.
- Marketing Support: Partner with the marketing team to coordinate retailer marketing activities promotional campaigns and instore initiatives.
- Training & Development: Ensure retailers are trained on Hayes products and have access to technical resources working closely with the Technical Service and Customer Care teams.
- Sales Performance: Achieve or surpass monthly sales targets providing regular sales forecasts and updates to the National Sales Manager.
- Event Representation: Attend trade shows cycling events and retailer engagements to represent Hayes brands and foster relationships.
What Were Looking For:
Education Skills Experience and Knowledge:
- Proven sales experience ideally in the bicycle or sports industry.
- Indepth knowledge of cycling products and their applications.
- Strong relationshipbuilding and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a multistate territory.
- Willingness to travel frequently and attend industry events.
- Must reside within the specified territory (NC SC GA).
Compensation:
This is an Independent Contractor role (SelfEmployed). Compensation is commissionbased with substantial earning potential based on your sales performance.
