Job Description
Sunrise FS isheadquartered in Virginia Illinoiswith branches in Mason and Cass counties. SunriseFS hasabout 200employees (including seasonal workers) and approximately 2500 customers.The cooperative does business in agronomy energy grain tires irrigation and retail. SunriseFS is part of the GROWMARK System an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100000 customers across North America and Ontario Canada.
PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Under the direction of the Tire Shop Manager performs tire repairs and replacements for a fast paced teambased tire center.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsible for repairing changing and replacing tires at the tire center and at the farm location.
Responsible for providing excellent customer service to our patrons.
Responsible for maintaining the shop area and equipment.
Assists with maintaining appropriate inventory of parts necessary for repairs and maintenance.
Prepare work orders as needed.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
May be required to drive and run local errands as needed.
Follows GROWMARKs Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program Environmental Health and Safety OSHA and DOT policies and procedures as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge collaboration communication customer focus decision making and skill development.
Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record.
Frequently exposed or required to:
- Extreme weather conditions (hot cold wet etc.
- Noisy conditions
- Working conditions may include dust fumes chemicals and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures
- Lift 71100 lbs
- Required to push heavy objects
Will be required to work hours other than those considered normal to meet seasonal demands.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARKs policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
