Job Description

Calibrate is working on behalf of Yetter Coleman a premier litigation boutique firm with more than 50 attorneys headquartered in Houston TX to identify an exceptional Director of Talent Management & Training. This is a pivotal leadership role working directly with the COO to shape and execute the firms attorney talent strategy from attracting and hiring top lateral partners and associates to leading professional development performance management and training initiatives. The Director will be instrumental in helping to deliver a worldclass attorney practice experience and upholding the firms commitment to performance excellence. This position is based in the firms Houston office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Hiring:Lead lateral partner and associate hiring in collaboration with firm leadership.
  • Performance Management:Administer attorney performance reviews including evaluations tied to compensation.
  • Professional Training & Development:Design and implement attorney training programs.
  • Retention & Firm Culture:Develop and implement strategies to enhance attorney engagement retention and firm culture in partnership with firm leadership.
  • Strategic Planning & Leadership Support:Collaborate with firm leadership to identify attract hire and retain attorneys.
  • Advisory Role:Serve as a trusted advisor to attorneys and firm leadership.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • 8 years in law firm talent management recruiting or professional development.
  • Experience in Big Law or a highperforming legal environment.
  • Strong leadership judgment strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities.
